Open-source notices
Our applications are our own work, with a small number of open-source pieces from others. Each is listed here with its licence in full, as its licence asks. The same notices are in every application, under Menu, then Open-source notices.
What the applications include
| Component | Version | Licence | Used in |
|---|---|---|---|
| three.js | r128 | MIT License | DuctConstruct3D, HangerConfig, EQ-Studio3D, PipeSketch3D |
| Adobe Core 14 font metrics (Helvetica, Helvetica-Bold) | AFM 4.1, 1997 | Adobe Core 14 AFM permission notice | DuctConstruct3D, HangerConfig, EQ-Studio3D, PipeSketch3D, TubeBender |
| Hershey Fonts (acknowledgement) | — | Public domain, with an acknowledgement | PlanExtruder |
ISOCAD, PipeSketch Field, FrameIt3D and SupportWright3D include no third-party open-source code. No application embeds a font file; each uses the device's own system fonts.
This website's typefaces (Bricolage Grotesque, Manrope and JetBrains Mono) are served by Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License.

Adobe Core 14 font metrics (Helvetica, Helvetica-Bold)
Copyright (c) 1985, 1987, 1989, 1990, 1997 Adobe Systems Incorporated. All Rights Reserved. — measures the words on a printed title block.
Copyright (c) 1985, 1987, 1989, 1990, 1997 Adobe Systems Incorporated. All Rights Reserved. This file and the 14 PostScript(R) AFM files it accompanies may be used, copied, and distributed for any purpose and without charge, with or without modification, provided that all copyright notices are retained; that the AFM files are not distributed without this file; that all modifications to this file or any of the AFM files are prominently noted in the modified file(s); and that this paragraph is not modified. Adobe Systems has no responsibility or obligation to support the use of the AFM files. What this app carries: the character widths of Helvetica and Helvetica-Bold, taken from Helvetica.afm and Helvetica-Bold.afm, so that text on a printed sheet is measured exactly as a PDF viewer will set it. Modified: only the widths of the printable ASCII characters are kept; no AFM file is included. Helvetica is a trademark of Linotype-Hell AG and/or its subsidiaries (the AFM files’ own notice); no font file is included.
Hershey Fonts (acknowledgement)
Dr. A. V. Hershey, U. S. National Bureau of Standards; data format by James Hurt, Cognition, Inc. — helped teach the plan reader its lettering.
The Hershey Fonts were originally created by Dr. A. V. Hershey while working at the U. S. National Bureau of Standards. The format of the Font data in this distribution was originally created by James Hurt, Cognition, Inc. What this app carries: no font data. The plan reader recognises written dimensions with small averaged pictures of letters, and some of those pictures were drawn with stroke lettering made from the Hershey data (by way of LibreCAD’s font files). This acknowledgement travels with it, as the Hershey distribution asks.
