DuctConstruct3D™Duct: Draw, Fabricate, InstallPrivate beta, by invitation

Draw. Fabricate. Install.

Getting gauge, reinforcement and the cut list right usually takes the book and a desk. DuctConstruct3D™ does it on your phone, piece by piece, and hands the shop paperwork that is ready to build.

DuctConstruct3D on a phone: a rectangular supply main drawn in 3D, with a transition to a smaller size, a round tap off the side and one elbow. Each piece is tagged, for example S1-T1 for the transition and S1-E1 for the elbow.
The ductDrawn, with every piece tagged.
DuctConstruct3D on a phone: the flat pattern for elbow S1-E1, drawn as its two gore shapes, with the cut and bend lines, the method, the blank size and the seam and joint allowances.

What you can do

What it does.

  • Draw duct with your finger

Rectangular, round, flat oval and flex. Elbows and transitions drop in on their own.

  • Size and pressure first

Set 24″ × 12″ at 2″ w.g. and draw. Hold a duct to drop in a branch, damper or access door.

  • Fabrication details, every piece

Gauge, reinforcement, joints, seams, tie rods and weight, worked out for you, not looked up.

  • It won’t guess

If a size is outside what it knows, it says so and tells you why instead of making up a number.

  • Shop paperwork

Cut list PDF, part sheets with patterns drawn and dimensioned, fitting tags, a BOM and a one-zip job package.

  • Hang list + see it in the room

Pieces in hang order with rod lengths and “It’s up” ticks, and the run at full size through the camera.

The private beta

Two minutes to ask. Two weeks to try.

We’re inviting a small crew of tradespeople to use DuctConstruct3D™ before anyone else: sheet-metal journeymen, shop foremen, detailers, estimators and apprentices. If that’s you, we want your honest take.

  1. Ask for a spot

Tap the button, get a sign-in code by email and tell us your trade in a minute.

  2. We approve

We read every request. If there’s a spot for you, you get an email with your next steps.

  3. Sign the agreement

A short beta agreement, signed online.

  4. Install with TestFlight

The app comes to your iPhone or iPad through Apple TestFlight.

  5. Use it, then tell us

Two weeks on your own work, three quick questions each Friday. Optional: a 30-minute recorded video call where you try one job while we watch.

Three things we’ll ask you

  • Do the gauge and reinforcement match what your shop would build?
  • Would your shop build from these part sheets and tags as they are?
  • Guides or arrows: which way of moving a duct felt right?

Help us decide what comes next

These are the ideas we’re asking testers about. Tell us which one you want most.

  1. Flat patterns to the plasma table
  2. 3D files for coordination
  3. Send to hangers + crew progress
  4. Newer construction tables

Before you use any of it

Check before you cut.
