PipeSketch3D™Pipe runs & cut listsPrivate beta, by invitation

Draw the run. Get the cut list.

Measured on a ladder, sketched on cardboard, redrawn in the office, cut wrong. PipeSketch3D™ puts the whole run on your phone. Sketch it with your finger and walk away with the fittings and the cut list.

What you can do

What it does.

  • Draw it with your finger

The pipe follows your finger and an elbow drops in at every corner. Type 12 · 6 on the keypad and it reads 12′-6″.

  • Three real specs

Copper press, PVC DWV and butt-weld steel, sized from the manufacturers’ catalogs.

  • A cut list you can trust

Fitting takeoffs come off for you. Our bar for the beta: zero wrong numbers.

  • Spool sheets, ready to print

Letter or tabloid, with the cut list and the material list on the sheet.

  • See it in the room

Stand the run up full size through your phone’s camera before anything is cut.

  • Talk to draw

Say the run out loud. It reads it back as legs and fittings for you to check.

    Opens after the beta.

The private beta

Two minutes to ask. Two weeks to try.

We’re inviting a small crew of tradespeople to use PipeSketch3D™ before anyone else: pipefitters, plumbers, detailers, foremen and apprentices. If that’s you, we want your honest take.

  1. Ask for a spot

Tap the button, get a sign-in code by email and tell us your trade in a minute.

  2. We approve

We read every request. If there’s a spot for you, you get an email with your next steps.

  3. Sign the agreement

A short beta agreement, signed online.

  4. Install with TestFlight

The app comes to your iPhone or iPad through Apple TestFlight.

  5. Use it, then tell us

Two weeks on your own work, three quick questions each Friday. Optional: a 30-minute recorded video call where you try one job while we watch.

Three things we’ll ask you

  • Does the cut list match what you would have cut?
  • Where did you get stuck, or reach for a tape and paper instead?
  • What would make this the first app you open on the job?

Help us decide what comes next

These are the ideas we’re asking testers about. Tell us which one you want most.

  1. More pipe specs
  2. PDF plans to pipe runs
  3. Send to the crew + track install
  4. Field photos on the run
  5. Your supplier’s catalog

Before you use any of it

Check before you cut.
