TubeBender on a phone: a piece of 3/4-inch conduit drawn in 3D as a rolling offset: two 45-degree bends between two 36-inch straights, with each length dimensioned and both bends numbered, under the app's Beta — confidential label.

TubeBender on a phone: the bend card, showing the marks on the conduit measured from the end, the stock length of 89 and 11/16 inches, and the bend schedule with the arrow mark and the angle for each of the two bends.

What you can do

What it does.

  • Your bender, your tube

Ten materials, from EMT and rigid to copper and stainless, with a bender library, or add your own.

  • Offsets, saddles, kicks

Rolling offsets, three- and four-bend saddles, kicks, stubs and deducts.

  • Marks you can bend to

Stock length to cut and every bend mark, with shrink and multiplier as the exact figure and the rule of thumb.

  • A step-by-step bend card

“Bend it” walks you through each bend and remembers your place.

  • Springback that learns

“Check what you made” measures your last piece and corrects the next one.

  • Sketch it or type it

Draw the piece with a finger or punch it in. A real run is about eight taps.

The private beta

Two minutes to ask. Two weeks to try.

We’re inviting a small crew of tradespeople to use TubeBender™ before anyone else: electricians, refrigeration and HVAC techs, pipefitters, instrument techs and apprentices. If that’s you, we want your honest take.

  1. Ask for a spot

Tap the button, get a sign-in code by email and tell us your trade in a minute.

  2. We approve

We read every request. If there’s a spot for you, you get an email with your next steps.

  3. Sign the agreement

A short beta agreement, signed online.

  4. Install with TestFlight

The app comes to your iPhone or iPad through Apple TestFlight.

  5. Use it, then tell us

Two weeks on your own work, three quick questions each Friday. Optional: a 30-minute recorded video call where you try one job while we watch.

Three things we’ll ask you

  • Did the piece fit within an eighth of the card?
  • Is your bender, or your material, missing?
  • Which bend do you still do by hand, and why?

Help us decide what comes next

These are the ideas we’re asking testers about. Tell us which one you want most.

  1. Programs for CNC benders
  2. Open runs drawn in PipeSketch3D™
  3. Segment bends for big radius
  4. More benders and materials
  5. Send bend cards to the crew

Before you use any of it

Check before you cut.
